IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO MEMBERS for 2026

Important News letter 2026 / Committee Decisions

Dear Members,

It is with the utmost regret that we share with you some important decisions. Firstly the good news; as of the 1st of January 2026, the senior membership fee will reduce to £60.

Now for the not so good news;  as from the following dates some of these fisheries will no longer be available on the Carshalton & District A.S membership ticket. However we are in talks at present so will keep you posted. There is also a NEW venue added for 2026 see below.

  • Five Oaks Fishery Top Lake available ( Middle & Bottom Lake Full Day Ticket Price).
  • 1st January Beaver Farm Farm Fishery. No longer available
  •  Available from the 1st February 2026 Care Ashore Springbok Lake.

The Committee are pleased to announce we have agreed a deal whereby our members are now able to fish Springbok Lake in West Sussex.

This lake has 22 swims with plenty of Roach and Ornamental Carp. This lake is Baliffed every day by the resident organisation and members WILL be required to show their membership details via their phone App that shows their I.D as well as their membership expiry date. The area has sometimes phone connectivity issues at times so I would suggest taking a screenshot before going. Failure to present details will result in paying a Day ticket fee currently £10.

The fishery holds the odd competition so please check out their website under Match diary before visiting.  ‘Care Ashore Springbok Lake’ via google or careashore.org/facilities/fishing

Rules for the fishery can also be found on their website and must be strictly adhered to.

On a sadder note:

Beaver farm Fishery has been sold and sadly the new owners have decided not to carry on with our previous agreement. You can of course continue to fish this water by purchasing a day ticket after the aforementioned date.

Yours fraternally

CADAS Committee.
